What to expect when you attend an appointment with one of our Chiropractors
On arriving you will be met in reception by one of our friendly clinic team who will welcome you and give you a form to fill
out some contact details
You will be greeted by your Chiropractor and taken into one of our treatment rooms
Your Chiropractor will listen carefully to your problem, ask you specific questions about your symptoms, general health and your past medical history
The Chiropractor will then perform a detailed examination of your spine, muscles and nerves to help find the root of your symptoms.
We have a high-quality digital X-ray machine in the clinic to take X-rays at your first visit (if necessary)
At the end of the first visit we give you advice to help you and then take some time to study the findings of your history, examination and X-rays
At your second visit called the ‘Report of Findings’ we report back to you exactly what we have found and explain the cause of your symptoms.
We go through and explain your X-rays and give you a treatment plan of how many sessions it will take to sort out your problem
We then start your treatment plan. Chiropractors use their hands to locate and ‘adjust’ the joints so that normal movement and function is restored. The body can then get on with the process of healing.
We regularly reassess you to check your progress during treatment and give you advice to keep getting better
Once your have reached your goal we offer ongoing maintenance care to keep you (and your family!) at optimum health
